My name is Stuart Davidson and I am the pastor here at Eastern Shore Baptist Church. What a blessing it is for me to be here with all of you this morning. Today, we are in week 4 of a 20 week series entitled “The Book of Mark, Encountering The Miracles and Mission of Jesus Christ”. This morning we are going to talk about one of the more impressive miracles that Jesus performed. Before we discuss that, I want to share with you a true story about one of our very own church members. The event happened several years ago. Michaelyn Gober had just left on Choir Tour with our church. Her husband Adam decided to go on a deep sea fishing expedition in the Gulf of Mexico.
