  Jethro’s Faithful Fathering Introduction: I love my Dad.  I am so grateful for him.  Our relationship has changed drastically over the years.  It is fun to see how he reacts with my children now.  It is really funny to see him in that grandfatherly role now.  Dad will always be Dad to me.  However, he is Pop to my boys.  A few years ago, Jack was learning to read and he came to the marvelous discover.  He said, “you know what Pop, you are one ‘o’ away from Poop”. I started my prayers like this, “God is great, God is good”. How many of you prayed a similar prayer? Today, I am closing in on the age of 44 and while I do not pray that prayer any longer, my prayers tend to be a bit more serious and a bit longer, maybe a bit deeper as well.
